I just noticed this, the Crusader is one ugly tank XD.

Oh, and thanks, the two posts above me were very helpful.

After some more mind numbing hours on Paint, I have finally reached the COMPLETE RL Crusader, mixing in parts of the American M1A1, M60A3, Japanese Type 90 and the French AMX30, inspiration coming from the T-80, the M109, Leclerc, Challenger 1, 2 and Leopard tanks.

So, what do you guys think?

Wow, Awesome research you did there :wahhhhhaa: . But i still don't get the description and stuff on the top right corner. Also, I noticed a tiny error in the crusader pic you did. the "hatch" of the crusader is located to the right and not to the left.

Now this research is somewhat finished, Whats next? The Overlord?

You see, if you look at everything "flat", the grate, the hatch and everything will actually form a layer of "lines", so to save time and it looks good anyway, I decided to just make a bunch of hatch/grate like lines and get over it.

Geeky indeed, but I personally find it quite fun to make up random stuff based in video games and make them into real world units.

Edit: Chris, do you mean the barrel on the top right? It's becuase I don't wanna stretch the page too long, so I kinda cut it and placed it above the tank.

The fact that I've got RL stats is even sadder. note that I am trying to have a Shockwavemod's version of Jane's Guide to Tanks and things that shoot at you recognition guide.

PLA, i still dont think the crusader got 1 crew,it got one turret hatchand two hatches on the chassis aswell

1 Commander

1 Gunner

1 Driver
3 crew

Since the crusader fires pretty fast and got a new gun probably means it got an autoloader:it eject,s a pilot due to gameplay.Do humvees got airforce pilot,s in them?

and the battlemaster IS a type 79 it,s not fictional

Change the barrel, the Crusader does not have an 120mm L44It got a fictional 125mm Gun

'The director and author of the article 'Strategia' stand by the facts given by the article. It is a common misconception that the Crusader would be mounted with a 125mm smoothbore cannon, but the idea was later rejected in favor of using a 105mm cannon due to the large amount of surplus tank rounds left for the 105mm cannon and lower maintenance costs.' The crew number given in the article is correct. BAE systems has confirmed that the electronics onboard include an autoloader, a fire control system and a guidance package that is similiar to those used in the F-16 fighter, reducing the needed crew to one.'
- Response from 'Strategia', a American magazine about current warfare and related technology regarding a article recently published about the M3 Crusader
There, happy?

It is, The Battlemaster is a modified T-55 tank but the Battlemaster class of the T-55 doesn't exist. If you look closely, The BM have a short tank gun, well, The battlemaster looks alot like a lighter version of the T-55 (or T-69).

The BM compares closely to the general design of the T69, except:
-There's no such 'grille' structure on the front of the chassis, offset to the left.
-BM's engine is ridiculously short, leaving what supposed to be drive sprockets in the back of the tracks disconnected form the chassis.
-BM's turret is overly large, lacks some important feature on the T69, and unlike the one on T69 too, it floats.
