What you need:

-finalbig (or other similar programs)

What you do:

Step 1: get the mods .big file and put it in C:\My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data

Note: if the mod doesn't come as a .big you'll have to pack it yourself using finalbig, the easiest way is to just drag and drop the modded files and folders into finalibg, after which you should have something like this...

then save it as 0Modname.big

Step 2: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour, look for a file called "game.dat" (this is the game itself) then create a shortcut to your desktop (this will be our custom mod launcher)

Step 3: right click on the shortcut, then select properties, in the target field type -mod 0modname.big

Like so...

congratulations you has created your own custom launcher :)

just repeat the steps with all your other mods, and if you want to play a specific mod just click on it's respective shortcut

and when you want to play normal ZH just use the normal ZH shortcut
