A tad too white, but otherwise very nice. Just needs a llittle more contrast.

The render didn't have a whole lot of contrast to it unfortunately, so rather than trying to re-tool that sig, i decided to make a new one in a similar style

Normally I'd agree with the last bit of criticism that was made, but the white that comprises a majority of the signature isn't really all that "white". It's more cream coloured or "off-white", which helps to define the outline of the more brilliant white Tennessee uniforms.

While the Manning signature could get away with the white background, this one can not. The background and the render blend into each other far too much. One suggestion is to change the colour of the background, so that it is still the same style as the Manning signature, but the render is more defined and wouldn't bleed into the background.

added some darker effects behind the render and darkened the background slightly (the blending on the left is a result of a render effect i was playing with, would probably look better with a blue BG and blue themed sig.)

A blue background for the second signature is more along the lines of what I was thinking, though the large pixels behind your render do help to add definition. In that respect, you've made a marked improvement. However, and it may be the way I'm perceiving/looking at it, but your name is a bit washed out. Perhaps you could use a slightly darker font to make your name a bit more noticeable.

Also, I fixed my previous post. :P

I agree with Nuker, alnought technically a great sig, it just has too much white and its hard to see the other visual elements. A sig with that much of any colour just wouldn't work, maybe just add a splash of colour to the BG, just to give it some depth and interest.

saw some kids in interactive media messing around in photoshop. whiped this up to demonstrate how to properly use the program. rather than just drawing MS-paint stick figures on pics.

Too late. Well, I did at least one of them anyway :)

Nice and simple there 'try. Looks good, and not because she is one of the most beautiful women on the planet.

I'd give you a 13/10 score for this sig :)
More seriously, it's funny to see how even if you haven't added that many effects, the result is still pretty good.

If you were going for the effect of making it look like a high spec game, you hit that perfectly (apart from the background objects, they have far too much detail to be in a racing game :P).

Eagle Talon nitro boost GO! (all it needs is a neon coloured flame and you're set).

If the cars are still, then your attempt at creating motion is well received. If the cars are in motion, the suggestion of speed is present. As The Dr. pointed out, if you were going for the feel of a high-end video game, you've nailed it spot on.
