Yeah, I have decided to rewrite, together with Vengence, the story. MEC flies out, Aliens come in. The Ardearians, named after their home system, Ardearia.

Razer light artillery tank. Cost: 8000$.
The Razer has almost no armor, like most of the Ardearian vehicles. Instead, it has powerful engines, hover capability, and a strong defensive shield, which fires 1-2 electromagnetic shocks at incoming missiles and large caliber projectiles.

Seraphim assault tank. Cost: 9800$.
The Seraphim is the only Ardearian vehicle that actually HAS armor. But also it has the most powerful shields to be found on any of their planetary vehicles. It wields a dual plasma disruptor cannon and a heavy bomb launcher on the back. It's big downside however is, as of many Ardearian vehicles, they don't have a turret, so they have to turn to the enemy before shooting.

interesting also a cool design but it looks more like NODish thing to me

No. These won't even resemble (aside the fact that they use a few plasma weapons, and are aliens) the covenant. Also, these aliens are one single race, instead of an alliance of races.
