Looking for modeler/model
D.K. 13 Jul 2009
So, I've started working on community mod for Project Reality, to be precise, Croatian Armed Forces. Currently, we have just three people working on it so far, and we would appreciate if anyone here would like to help us by either:
-Making model or two of some weapons
-Joining our "noble cause"
-Giving advice for working in some programs
Now, I know that lot of you are busy probably working in your own mods, but if you can help us out with at least few models, we would really appreciate that.
PR manager of the CAF community faction,

Hmm, I say it would be a good idea to state your aim clearly. Now you wouldn't join some random mod now, would you?

Of course. I probably haven't made myself clear enough.
I'm trying to make faction for Project Reality (BF2 mod) - Croatian Armed Forces. In Project Reality, there are people from around the world. They can make their own factions (countries from which they come from) and present them to the developers who (if good enough) implement them in game. Currently, Russians, Germans and Canadians are pretty much done with their jobs.
Lately, there's been a common sight people helping in other factions, just because it adds diversity into game. So country doesn't matter too much now.
Hope that's what you've been asking for.

If anyone is interested we need someone capable of modeling high poly models with a limit to 3k Polys and Tris (im no expert but last time I've check that counts as high poly). Small arms preferable though vehicles will be fine and appreciated aswell (vehicles in the range of 6k poly&tris)

Im not trying to be rude, but why not try to learn to model urselves? its pretty easy to pick up. and if you're going to be making a mod ull need to know at least something about modeling.

Well we got one modeler (he made half a dozen of models already) and I am learning to map (as I have no technical means to make models). We wouldnt ask if we really didnt need help. (also not everyone is capable of modeling highly detailed rifles)

So you need models of Croatian origins or it doesn't matter? If you can give me some details I might help out with a model or two, as I have plenty of free time now..

You don't have to be a Croatian. Contact me over xfire (diurexx) or msn (rapter@net.hr)
