In this thread you can keep your fellow FS gamers informed about the best Steam Discounts every weekend. This way you wont have to stroll through them every weekend yourself and we can also get an archive of the best discounts.

To make the thread relevant, please post only significant discounts of say 50 percent and more. There are ofcourse exceptions to this rule, like when MW1 gets a 10 percent discount in a sign of humanity from Activision CEO Kotick. Significant price drops of top games can be posted as well.


In steam, $ = €. In £ pounds it's something like 10 - 20 percent less but I am not sure, someone with UK access get me the real conversion factor steam uses?


Overlord games

First up, is the Overlord deal this weekend. I quote myself:

Steam now provides the original Overlord game for a measly $ 1,50, the expansion for $ 2,50 and the sequel for $ 7.50.

Though theres no reason to buy that, as the entire package is only $ 8.75. Two games and one expansion probably guaranteed to give you 50+ hours of nice gameplay. Time to resurrect my Overlord fetish.

Crysis games

Second up, the Crysis games are on 50% discount sale. Crysis is up for $ 10 and Crysis Warhead for $ 15. Not so much of a big deal as the above, but still worth if if you haven't played these yet.

is currently 75% off on Steam, grab it while you can.

It is only £3.74 in UK.

And is a pretty good game to. If I didn't already have this I'd get it. Good spot.

I'm not even going to list it. Steam has a five day early holiday event which summed up is five new weekend deals every day. Just check it out on Steam.

On of the diamonds: Grid is now on for € 5 instead of 20, and Dragon Age origins is also on 25 percent discount. These two are still available for 8 hours.

Also, if you want to get a lot of games for cheap, THQ complete pack (containing all DoW and CoH games, DoWII, All Red Faction, All Titan Quest, All Stalker, Frontlines and Saints Row 2 + more.) € 50

They also have Batman: Arkham Asylum for 50% off, apparently that game's above average.

They also have Osmos at 66% off, it's a sum total of £2, and it's one of the best indie games I've played in a long time.

Batman is tempting me... I've already bought 2 games this month though.
