How do I join IRC?

I wanted to join E-studios IRC channel to get more news on the move, and just wanted to join, so, how do I do it?

I think you need some sort of sorftware to use the IRC. But I don't know because I haven't used it before.

Look up Hydra IRC, its free, and it does everything you need. And you cant use that link untill you have that program, but dont worry, it hardly takes any space, heres the link.

Btw, you'll love it, its fun to talk with the forum members in Live chat. You get things done quicker :/

Oh. Well I suppose I missed you. I'm sorry. I could have been of more assistance. The IRC channel considers 5 to (if ES is lucky) 8 maybe to be considered "busy."

You can also use IRC via Trillian (in reply to topic title). But seeing as you managed your way in with another program I won't explain it unless you want me to. Good to see things work :/.

if you use firefox then get an extension called chatzilla

then simply click on the irc link posted on the forum and it will automatically take you to that channel. no hassle with settings and stuff.

I use mIRC. Best client out there, but not necessarily the easiest...
