The announcement forum is open for project leaders to post new topics in, but there are a few clear rules. Most importantly, they are only meant for important announcements regarding a project. Media updates or renders are not allowed, for example. A general rule is that if it's any less important than the announcement of a new mod, an important change regarding a project, or a major mod release, it doesn't belong there, but in your project's news forum.
