Hello there CnC Fans!!!

I recently started mapping again, this time I also map for CnC3.
I wanted to show you some screens of my first CnC3 map, inspired by 1 of the missions included in Red Alert1 Counterstrike and Aftermath and guess what, it's indoor :D .

*Removed first screens, new screens below*
NOTE: It's still far from finished :( .

I like the "Annihilation", but it doesn't really resemble a warehouse.

Gave it some thought and came up with the following:

-Dr. Evil's Secret Lair
-Trapped
-(Annihilation)? Corridors

What ya think?

And @ Kenny: Where the hell should I put the tiberium if the map is 'almost completely ;) ' indoors + I made kind of a tiberium resistand floor arround the tiberiumfields.
Also, good to see you mapping again to Kenny, it's like an addiction isn't it? :P

I got a idea for the tiberium. Put them in pits, so it looks like the Tiberium weakened the foundation of the building. That way some parts are collapsed and tiberium grows trough the cracks and craters the failed foundation provided.

And for the name.... ''Total Annihilation'', ''Tiberium Arena'', ''Concrete Foundations'' cant really think up any other at the moment.

Also, mapping is a addiction yes, besides you people are lost without me :P

It's a bit too foggy IMO. Also I agree with Kenny, make some effect of the Tiberium growing up through cracks.

How about something like "Tiberium research facility"? Perhaps a bit wordy, but the best I could come up with.

Probably gonna add a downloadable BETA-version real soon, so be sure to check regularly :D

Ohw and sorry to disappoint you guys and girl ;) , but the final name will be Sector-17.

UPDATE:
The BETA is here for you to test!
And like The Dr already noticed it has a working minimap.

Things I might want to add in the final version:
-No Planes or other flying stuff (except for the flying alien MCV thing and other low hovering stuff)
-No superweapons (would look a bit out of place in an underground base :dope: )
-Maybe add some additional textures, but not to sure
-Still open for good suggestions I might add...
-Want to remove shadows, but haven't figured out how to remove them...yet(help) ;)
-And stuff I might come up with later...

BE SURE TO GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK, THE MAP WILL PROBABLY BE DONE FASTER!!! thx :D

No seriously, nice map you've got there, gonna try it out as soon as it's downloaded.

Edit: Overall it's a nice map, I presume those empty spots are reserved for Tibspikes, and you're going to put the zoom level a bit higher, right. I haven't seen anything I don't like yet.

Still haven't decided what to do with "the empty spots", enlighten me :P
Also, the zoom level was intended that way, since the black areas are not really part of the battlefield and it makes the "underground" feeling a bit more convincing, IMHO.
But if it really bothers you, I'll change it (I thought it was a nice touch though :( ).

It really hinders what you can actually see of the battlefield, I must say it's an original idea, but it really hinders more than that it helps.

I'll do something about the zoomlevel, but the fog was done on purpose, so it feels like you're in a dark, dense atmosphere (abandoned long ago), with a limited range of sight.
