The green works quite well, since it sort of "explains" (for lack of better terminology), the sheen on the render.

Hello.

Pod, would you be kind enough to enhance the picture? It would be my sig. I do not know any photo-rendering media.

Thank you.

Why thank you Crobar - I added that as a tiny little touch.

So here's my latest one - a Pencil sig for SOTW #62 - it had to be vertical.....

Posted Image

My only problem is that the edges are very slightly fuzzy - i can't get it so that the side of the rectangle is flat..... any ideas on that one anyone?

Cheers EVE - nice to hear!

And as you can probably see below I rotated it to form a sig - i'll probably give it a bit of TLC later. Strange how the angles make it look like the pencil isn't straight, when it is completely.

I also decided to make a BG for the One Word Story thing - so here it is:

So here we are - my entry for SOTW #63 - there's a large version and a baby one - the baby one doesn't have the same feel to it for me - but has to be due to the size regulations....

Baby one:

and the massive one!!! :/!!!

Awesome :) That's really cool. My SOTW was originally a hell of a lot larger than it is now too - Luckily I remembered to shrink it just before I posted it though :P

Yer you remembered :)

And AjPod the small one seems lacking but the "massive" one is more like a forum banner than a sig |8

With the small one, maybe you could remove the smaller text, its hard to read and it looks out of place.

And Tbh the pop out looks good on the big version but I think the smaller one could probably look better without it.

Well Doc - i heeded some of your advice, and changed one or two things or my own to give this:

Posted Image

I took out the pop-up sections, as well as added a fractal to the bottom to make it look like something was coming out of the bottom of the sig, as well as added a little ghostly-kind-of-effect to some of the surrounding areas, as well as took out the smaller text, and changed the larger text.

Cheers it took me a long time to have a go at getting the glass features right - as for standing out more, if they get any brighter I fell that they detract from the rest of the image - but I did certainly try as I realise that they're not the most obvious features in it. As to P4v3d, yes it is a brush set that I tweaked myself - the set is made by archaii on deviantart - it's a rather good set! see here if you want them: http://archaii.deviantart.com/art/Shatter-...rushes-82308115

Meh - i found that if the render goes any darker it loses it's features - this is pretty much as dark as I could get it without it being all but a silhouette. Thanks for the constructive comments tho guys!

Why thankee Laserjet. It's been a while since I updated this as I've been working on this one for while now:

The heads are from this original image : image
The prism came from any basic image you would like to find.
The font comes from the album of The Wall, with the image inverted, bricks removed and text elements re-engineered to form the R and S.
The rest is brush work and renders.
