Ok, here's the drift. While I was working with Derelict Studios a long time ago, I came across a soldier that essentially could be used over-and-over-and-over... (you get the drift) Basically, it was a stepping stool, since there are few people in this buisness that's uber proficient with infantry. This helped out EMMENSELY. Granted, that dude only came with Rifles, and SMGs.

I now announce that I am in the process of bringing such a valuble tool to life in C&C3. This is dude will be completely new, and include more then just a few rifles and SMGs. He will include various helmets, vests, equipment, Anti-tank weapons, Sniper-rifles, Squad-support weapons (M32 "Six-Pack Attack", M249 SAW, etc.), even Heavy Machine Guns! Once it's rigged, and all the planned weapons are modeled, I'll release it for FREE public use. The only request I have is that propper credit for the work is given (including to those who rig him) it will also come in two flavors, Male and Female. It will also be unwrapped, and have it's own skin (most likely just a US Army PT-Shirt and pants, so camo-schemes will be up to the user from that point on).

If there is a weapon you'd like to see added to this list, simply give me a name, and post a side-veiw picture of it. Also, it'll help me out greatly if you post the weapons length (over-all length, not just the length of the barrel), and calibre (for example "Barret M82A1, picture, 61.0in, .50BMG" (that order PLEASE))

I already planned to make that who in there right mind promisses a deal like mine, and doesn't offer the good'ol Six-Pack Attack? Remember, I plan to include various helmats and vests, and so far I only have some US Helmats/vests. Anyone from outside the US that has a different helmat/vest style PLEASE get a freakin picture of it for me (I have my hands tied with all the guns )

Cool project.

Since a lot of C&C mods are based on future combat rather than modern warfare, perhaps you should add a generic laser or plasma rifle of some sort? (I don't have any specific ones in mind, just that you might want to include templates for them.)

As I've said before, if there are any weapons you want to see on this list, post it here (format is Weapon Name -> side-veiw pic of the weapon -> Overal Length -> Calibre) I'm planning to add the Six-Pack, M60, and standord M14 within the next few days. Once I'm satisfied with the number of weapons, they'll be skinned, then the model will be rigged, tested, then be released. Don't be surprised if this beats the RA3 Beta to release

PS: The weapons are colored to make it easier on whoever animates this sucker. and sorry for the grainy pic, but this is just a quick WIP shot.
