Strange thing though. The first time I arrived at Megaton, Deputy Weld was killed by a wasteland attack. And I never saw him, nor a replacement, ever again.

Tear up mutants with ripper, break into peoples' houses at night and steal things that I might need, all the while playing the good guy by alerting the sheriff and blasting the guy in the suit in the head with a shotgun just as he was about to shoot the sheriff in the back. Blood was everywhere.

I coulda swore I saw his corpse the first time I was there, and I coulda swore I took out his sensor (and sold it too =D)
