Absolutely - no matter your thoughts on a scenario, use it to you best advantage. And it would be fair to say while guys have little time for Valentine's, girls tend to be far more 'into' the concept.

It's not corny... have you ever given a girl a rose? If you had you would know that it works.

I'd agreee it's corny - it has been beaten to death one million times. However, it is undeniably effective, and sometimes the corny ideas go the furthest as it's what every girl envisages - roses/chocolates/teddy bears/being asked out.

That all said - Valentine's is horribly commercialised - as much so as Easter/Xmas in my books. It's a pity, as if it had kept it's roots intact without all of this commercial rubbish, it could likely be a very nice, special day for lots of couples.

I say the same about Easter and even Halloween (which is all-saints day) but yeah too late now I guess. As I mentioned before, most girls appreciate gestures like that by guys because a flower is an object of beauty. It makes them feel wanted :P

I have a girlfriend and we won't give us any presents or shuch stuff, we both think that it's stupid to make someone a present just because everybody else does, we are more using other days for these things..
