Sadly we are breeding a nation of idiots while most politicians are completely out of touch with the modern / normal world.

Well I would say Germany has a good chance to top the UK in that though...

It is simply put, impossible without extremely advanced and never before seen technologies in computer science, or extremely publicly unacceptable privacy invasion. It simply wont happen, the day it does is the next rebellion in the first/second world. Where did I put my blaster rifle and funky hat?

There is no between, we either live in a free or non-free world.

You're definition is flawed, if it is as you say it is, then no one lives in a free world. All states have laws that restrict us in our actions. However, I'd say that my country allows me to live freely. I can open up my own business, I have certain freedoms, including the freedom to say 2+2=5. However, I cannot violate laws without suffering consequences.

humanity can never have total freedom (ther'll always be something that manipulates us, our instincts, or the surroundings) But freedom is the freedom to say that 2+2=5 (saying something that strives against the normaly accepted answer, like saying that the earth is flat). Slavery is a world were being different (saying that 2+2=5) is evil, and you get punished for it.

Like Hitler with the jews/homosexuals/communists/politically different in any way, Pol Pot with the intellectuals. That kind of stuff

Quote

As long as the dark foundation of our nature, grim in its all-encompassing egoism, mad in its drive to make that egoism into reality, to devour everything and to define everything by itself, as long as that foundation is visible, as long as this truly original sin exists within us, we have no business here and there is no logical answer to our existence.
Imagine a group of people who are all blind, deaf and slightly demented and suddenly someone in the crowd asks, "What are we to do?"... The only possible answer is, "Look for a cure". Until you are cured, there is nothing you can do.
And since you don't believe you are sick, there can be no cure.
- Vladimir Solovyov
