Ah, thanks for the link, Wands. The first two don't seem very appealing since they don't add any actual materials (though the cacodemon skin is quite cute :xD: ) and a bandana or cap won't do it for me <87 . But the headbag looks pretty good and the Amazon/Steam versions' attachments and unique weapons sound good. I wish I could see the last two pictures but this stupid university internet connection is refusing to load the renders for more than a centimetre >.> .

It uses Steamworks integration, much like MW2. You're stuck with Steam :xD:

I think I like the Spec Ops version the most with the gimp mask.

FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

Why does every game I want to play nowadays depend on fucking Steam?! I guess a little privacy is too much to ask for >.> .

The art design for this game is looking like SO much WIN. I may end up getting it both on PC AND PS3 as some of my bodies on PSN really REALLY wanna play it.

2011 seems to be shaping up as a great year for games.

For me, there's Brink, Portal 2 and Batman Arkham City. (and maybe BF3 if it doesn't end up being a colossal disappointment)

Uhhh, come to think of it, does anyone know whether you'll be able to play it on windows XP? I seem to get conflicting sources and no official ones D: .

if it's not in there, we don't know. I don't think they will be cutting xp-support. The only titles that are doing it are DX11-only

Does this art style actually have color?! SWEEET

but on a serious note I will be getting this game, its a meld of uniqueness and sophistication. Customization is one of the main things that hooked me.

Snipers and gunna have a hard time in Brink

Pros: I wont have to deal with FUCKING SNIPERS.
Cons: I wont get to sneak kill the shit out of FUCKING SNIPERS.

Ah, so they want to cater to the noobs so unskilled that they can't even beat snipers 8| .

Typical.

Yes, because anyone annoyed by snipers doing nothing except killing eachother, and not giving a damn about the mission objectives, are noobs who just can't beat them. 8|

...but the map design and the nature of the constantly changing match objectives, means that camping the same spot is rarely the best way to ensure your team's success.

Since when have snipers ever cared for the teams succes?

Quote

As long as the dark foundation of our nature, grim in its all-encompassing egoism, mad in its drive to make that egoism into reality, to devour everything and to define everything by itself, as long as that foundation is visible, as long as this truly original sin exists within us, we have no business here and there is no logical answer to our existence.
Imagine a group of people who are all blind, deaf and slightly demented and suddenly someone in the crowd asks, "What are we to do?"... The only possible answer is, "Look for a cure". Until you are cured, there is nothing you can do.
And since you don't believe you are sick, there can be no cure.

You don't play BF2/2142 much, do you?

And sniper doesn't mean the same as camper.

Well, usually, yes 8| . Why stick something in if it's completely useless though? Might as well remove it entirely.
