Looks pretty promising, definitely some evolution in the gameplay. Quite interested in the revolver/melee class.

I like the fact that it doesn't take itself too seriously :D

Loved Borderlands. I regret having never finished it, but iirc, it was released immediately prior to some big gaming mistakes I made and I never went back to it. Hugely fun, if a little samey in places.

Love the first game, watched the trailer, can't see why I won't love the second one!

Also, I'm having trouble picking between the ninja or the guy with rockets D:

BL1 was great, definitely gonna give this one a try. High on the wish list: more different weapon designs instead of just the stats differing.

They are doing exactly that. Every corporation has a certan theme to their guns and how they work

Yeah but they had what you describe in BL1 too. What I mean is that the guns have more possible different looks, because they didn't really differ a lot from each other aesthetically in the game, just the stats mostly (and colour themes per manufacturer).

Oooh this looks good, as for that trailer music though.. it should be rounded up, marched to a wall and shot.

I'm surprised that no one has posted this before. I played the game at a friend's place recently at its a lot of fun. I have played the first BL and liked it a lot. This seems to be improving upon it with more character customizations and the trade mark random gun generation. Also the graphics look much sharper in this.

I only played for a few hours and intend to save up and get this. Anyone owning this have more impressions?

As you can see, we already have a topic about BL2.

I started playing it, loved it, then got hooked on Torchlight 2 instead D8

I'll go back to it when I need some shooty action soon 8|

Really want to give this a go, but the slight problem being that the only PC I currently have that is capable of running it comes from work and they're a bit iffy about me installing games on it. With good reason ;)

BL2 is fantastic, a big improvement on the already phenomenal BL1. They got really creative with this game and everything you can get your hands on just feels interesting and intriguing and you want to try it out. Guns look a little more varied as well, and less like toys, The manufacturers still have that strong character about them, though some manufacturers really took a hit in usefulness (Dahl and Hyperion sniper rifles are both almost unusable for example, and I can't seem to find a good Dahl weapon at all Oo . And of course there's no more Atlas.) Overall I'm switching to new and interesting weapons much more frequently in BL2 than in BL1 though which means that the game keeps itself fresh all the time. The maps are also extremely huge, and the missions plentiful. The game's still got that strong sense of humour and great quotability, and the characters have strong personalities. Legendary weapons seem much more usable this time around, and there are plenty of interesting unique effects. Boss fights can still be a pain in the arse but overall I'd say it's an extremely enjoyable game well worth anyone's money. Highly recommended!

I'm still working my way through the first playthrough, I bought both this and Torchlight 2 and with the general hectic nature of third year I haven't been able to play as much as I would like. We also did a little bit of multiplayer. Me, Dauth, Wiz joined for a very short period and 2nd to none. It's something I think we should defintely do in the future, plus I won't get annoyed at people rushing through because I've got my singleplayer character for exploring :)

DON'T BUY IT THEN.

Robbery: the felonious taking of the property of another from his or/her person or in his or her immediate presence, against his or her will, by violence or intimidation.

Unless someone forces you to buy it, it is NOT robbery.
