Your stuff looks great! If I had the space I'd get a 3D printer. Though the stuff I print would probably be more lovecraftian in nature.

If you want to learn blender, Blender Guru's Donut tutorial series that taught me the basics.

Or if you fancy just jumping straight in to low poly stuff, Imphenzia has a great selection where he shows you all the tips and tricks for low poly.

And if you want to just blow your mind/have a laugh, check out Ian Hubert's Lazy Tutorial series.

Thanks was actually my first try in weathering since I finally builded up the courage to do it. These train models sadly dont come cheap so you think twice before ruining them.

My biggest problem just is how the UI in Blender works since im just so used to 3ds Max. I was also never able to wrap my head around Maya when I wanted to switch to that or let alone ZBrush when they added nice Hardsurface modelling tools.

I've tried to learn Blender so many times, but it's like they've gone out of their was to deliberately make the most obtuse interface possible.

I think it's been much better the last year with the 2.8 update. Have you tried it?

I actually did try it. I even managed to modify the box and then I quitted out of frustration because something didnt work out how I imagined it to work like in 3ds Max.

Blender gets its name from the fact that the ui looks like it's been through one.

I had 3ds max all the years 8| |8 im just tired of the aging toolset they have and bugs in the software. Thats why I really really really wanna swithc to blender. I probbably get my motivation back to learn it when I actually get me the 3d printer I want.
