This is what I did with The Gimp:

You can use it for your sigs, wallpaper or anything, just PM me and be sure to credit.

I starred at your multi-colored wonder for too long and drooled on the carpet......>.> <.< It looks pretty cool, almost like a kaliedescope.

For your "Pizza Hut"-ish sig, the only thing I can find to gripe about is your text. IMO, you probably should have used green or bright white instead of grey and flat white. It makes it too hard to read at first.

Overall, not bad. Not bad for your first pieces of computer artwork.

Played around with some fonts and distortions and got a good wallpaper XD 800x600

Not that good but I am learning.

Your current one looks like a CD cover art for Metallica (which is a good thing ). Have you ever seen their cover for "Ride the Lightning"? IMO, it looks pretty similar.
