It's actually quite good, especially considering it's in Alpha stage, which it really doesn't feel like. Essentially it plays very similarly to Diablo 2, with a LOT of references to it (for instance, the first two enemies you encounter are essentially zombies and quill rat copies) and quite a lot of outright copied material. It doesn't have quite the same elegant fluidity of control that D2 had, but I'm sure they'll get there. Most imporantly, a proper skill tree is back, you spend character and skill points, and the loot is actually fairly decent. I'll post a more detailed review later if you want.

On the topic of Diablo, have you (or anyone else for the matter) see the improvements they are bringing to Diablo 3 next year? They are changing drops and removing the auction house, so it's less likely for you to get crappy stuff all the time. Yeah it's a bit late, but it might be worth revisiting Diablo 3 when that happens.

Meh, the skill tree thing alone is enough to break the game for me, personally.
