I used to play DOS-based digging games as a kid and even some that were really bad I liked. It just scratches an itch or something.

I did see someone make the point today that American billionaires are breeding new Americans to be obedient and uneducated to "mine them for their blue collar labour" which I thought was maybe a rather dramatic but probably not inaccurate representation of the facts.
