That's a tricky one to answer. I certainly went into with similar hopes. The acting is pretty good (at least from the main cast) and there was some great character moments in the episode I just watched (episode 6).

I will warn you though, I was thoroughly confused after the first episode and the second episode didn't really clarify much. The story is told in the past (when the cast are all kids) and the present (when they've grown up) and there's a lot of jumping back and fourth, but later episodes start to flesh out what actually happened and you start to understand character motivations a lot more.

Nah, it's not edgy at all, it's very unamerican (with shades of League of Gentlemen). The tone is spot on if you like that kind of thing.

Also: while watching yütübe, saw an inspirational advertisement kind of thing featuring Gal Gadot. Yeah Gal, it will work on everyone, every human being on the planet will be successful if they do what you did. Also, having the face of a goddess doesn't help, like, ever...
