Yes, apart from seeing, i can feel it in a way which is rather difficult to explain too. It used to be much stronger, i suspect depression nulled it down quite a bit but it is still there.

Yours is way worse, it's not a dry heat here but it's nowhere near 100% humidity, and makes makes a world of difference. That said, you guys do have AC, which we don't, anywhere.

Normally it's not that hot here, maybe 20-30 on a summer's day.

We have a very temperate climate, with mild summers and mild winters, so we (historically) don't have much need to condition our house. Every house has heating, but nothing hardcore, and insulation is typically very bad. Only of late, with the very high energy prices, have people started insulating their houses.

Obviously, we're also just not used to anything.

I think because the country is so flat there is a lack of tolerance to anything that goes even slightly off the top of the graph.
