hmm i think you are a little confused with what a sig is... when you say 'technician' i can only assume that you are refering to the the rank underneath your name, this changes depending on the number of posts you have made, once you reach 501 posts you can type a custom one by going to my controls

there is no real right or wrong thing to do with a signature, each and every person adopts his or her own style, the general form is render+background+name=sig, however this is not set in stone, i suggest you check our tutorial section, and google for sig making tutorials

i hope this helps :)

ur rank changes according to ur post count.
500+ posts and u can have a custom 'rank.

with the sig u need to be more specific than just 'what next?'

Depends on what you have done mate? Have you added a background? any effects? Please be somewhat more specific as to what you would like helping with, or even better post a screen shot of your signature so we can help you further.

I have my render centered any focused. I guess the backround would be next. Where do you guys get your backrounds? Can you make your own? How do I put a screenshot of what I have done?

i would suggest using :D to find your backgrounds, search for what ever you want, if you want a more abstract looking background, you can make one with some abstract or grunge brushes, for a more detailed explanation once again i recommend googling...

I know im being rather vague with my answers, but that pretty much is your best resource, if you ask more specific questions, i am sure i can be a bit more helpful :D

just host your sig at Imageshack and copy the 'direct link' and paste it into your post with [img][/img] tags, then we can advise you :D

I got caught with "hacking devices" on my account at school. I was framed. Got three days AC- Alterantive Classroom. You guys sure? How do you make backrounds? Like new brushes?
It doesn't seem to be working......

Maybe fill the white leg with a different colour, then motion blur it and blend it into the sig prehaps? or use a different render all together....your choice really.

I was thinking blend it into the backround, like camo. Is it good for a beginner?

-How do you motion blur?

Filter/Blur/Motion blur, then choose your settings

As for camo, it`s somewhat easy for a beginner. Just make a new layer and get some nice brushed and brush some camo colours, whatever takes your fancy really.

So anyone could make an abstract backround?

Cattman2236's Photo Cattman2236 02 May 2007

Yes they could, Go Here

And find some nice abstract brushes you like then use them to make your required background.
