Crazy Inventions

I recently found out that the first ever tank was basically an armored tractor. I lol'ed so hard.
The enemy was so scared, due to a lack of knowledge of it, that they retreaded on sight.
this was in WW1 i believe, and i think the british used it and the enemy that got scared away was germany.
Anyway, know of any other funny inventions like that?

Spin Duster, invented by yours truly. Its a duster that spins!
I stuck a standard shitty duster on the end of a Craftsman heavy duty powerdrill. Man that thing could dust some serious shit. It later got mounted on its own lighter drill and we use it around the house after a year. 's all good.

All you know that silencers for pistols do exist. At least, from Hitman =) So goes the idea - why not to attach a silencer onto an a tank or artillery?
American silencer for an American M109 Paladin.. with a veeery original look
