Thanks guys
Started working on a normal map, though part of me wonders why I'm bothering when this is mostly thin black lines:

Don't know much about normal mapping, I assume it's worth will rely on the engine thats displaying it.
Looks good to me, I have no doubt it will be impressive with a skin applied.

can you show me the normalmap? The lines seem to be very sharp, but no matter what, I always end up with a pixelfest, instead of a clean line

maybe its easier to make a bump-map instead if your engine doesn't support bumpmapping, you can always convert it to a normal map afterwards coz to me the details you just made would be very easy to accomplish with a simple bumpmap
Nice work so far also

Very nicely done, skin could use some sharpening imo, the scratches look too soft

Thanks for the tip, Pav. Sharpened up that layer, but I think it's partly the res of the skin/bleh UV. Hopefully, you won't see it that closely ingame

Star Destroyers are actually pretty annoying to model. Gonna tweak some of the plating some more, since some of the plates look out of place right now. Smoothing issues have since been fixed.

That a hell of a lot of detail there, very nice. Did you use a greeble plugin for those little details?
