been doing concept stuff again i was particularly fond of this one though, it's been bugging me for days. i keep shifting it's state and changing things last minute.
wrong version fixed.
edit2: the original is huge so unfortunately a whole lot of detail is lost (so far that you can't even see that there's supposed to be detail apparently )

A couple of things spring to mind when I view the image:
Mobile Suit Gundam
Warmachine
Space Marines
^ That's pretty much the order of things I thought about. Now more to the point. I do like the 3 different versions, as the one on the far right looks like he's facing away from an incredibly bright light (or fire).

I was thinking nuclear, but, giving the facing of the character, I dismissed it (I assumed he would have been capable of gazing at such and explosion).
Starting from the bottom, I'm not sure what to make of it, though I will submit that art designs cause me to think of Disney's "Atlantis". Obviously alien in orient, but there are defining points that suggest the head is probably that of a dragon, or some sort of lizard, and the "legs" belong to some sort of insect, perhaps that of a Locust/Grasshopper/Cricket, or a Praying Mantis.
Almost ghost-like with the frosted over front, but its outlined appearance have me thinking of some shadow monster from the cartoon Courage: The Cowardly Dog. Not a bad thing mind you, but given the jagged outline of the character, that's where my mind jumps first.
I almost want to say it's some herald of Nurgle, judging by the trinkets dangling from the forearm and sword, but the shape of the crown (or whatever it is that sits on the character's head) begs me to believe it's something from Final Fantasy.

a lil' work from school
the story behind it is that the velo in the final picture is envisioning the whole situation, exposing a philosophy that man is still more of a savage beast in it's actions than the dreaded dinosaurs or in this case, velociraptors. i chose velo's because in popular culture they are so often portrayed as intelligent but savage and dreadful, which strengthens the link to humans.
as for what actually happens, i believe the pictures say enough. if not, then all i can tell you is that velo x has declared war upon velo y and send troops to a desolate desert. the soldier in focus is left behind by his own troops and ultimately falls in battle due to friendly fire.
edit: a lot of detail was lost when i applied the cutout filter but it was really worth it since the images became way stronger than before. if you desire to view the originals, i'll post them too

Will we see it with colour, because i can imagine that as comic strip bright colour style.

thanks, and yes we do
at-dr: probably not. i fear it would lose a lot of it's strength if coloured. that and i hate colouring in general

Mostly it reminds me of artwork you'd find on an album of some sort, perhaps progressive rock or "screamo". And on a completely different note, it strikes me as Pokemon.................wish I didn't have that inkling.
