Daaamn, that looks nice.
That's definitely one of the coolest designs from the star wars films.
Very nice, can't wait to see what edits you make to the model when your back from your holiday.

Walkers just don't sell to me. Looks very nice but is still a sci-fi dream.
How would you go about skinning it? Sytle etc

That model looks really good. Looks like high quality... But as I told you already before, I am not a fan of these long and thin legs.
otherwise it's a great piece of work.

solved by my monthly 60 gb line mike
but yes, please do keep posting them in jpeg for the sake of page rendering times.
also, nice model. the legs are horrific though, they look too frail and thin/long.

Got to agree with Mylor and Camille Mike, the legs need a bit of a rethink, probably push them more towards the squat-ishness of your AT-TE from a while back

For one of my modules this year, i've been tasked with making a Fabrege egg which opens out into an orrery.
The Orrery doesn't have to true to our actual solar system, hence one going backwards. We have also been asked to have a planet on an orbit off the horizontal.
The worst part is that i've needed to use Maya, not 3ds max to make this which is proving tricky although i'm working through it.
I will post pictures or videos as i go along. Here is a quick video of what i have so far (Its not very much right now)
When its finished, there will be a room, everything will be both light up and textured nicely

Not the best video but its an improved version with textures, lights and better animations.
I will take some more tomorrow and upload them

Some rather more complete WiP shots.
There are still a whole bunch of things i need to do including adding legs to the holder, texturing the lamps etc but its getting there

The design has to be inspired by the designs of Carl Faberge who tended to use a lot of bright colours and golds, hence the blue
