Dawn Of war

Anyone still play the original? I completley forgot about this game since the first tme I installed it, my computer had to be wiped.
So, anyone wanna play?
How do you play against each other on here? Through Hamachi? Or online?
I really would like a game.

I play, I'm in the process of getting round to putting SS on as I already have DC and WA.

I prefer to play SS, or even DC, but if you want a game that badly, I'll see what I can do for unexpanded DoW.

Had a couple of fun games with TP earlier, though I don't half miss some of the DC content, mainly my grey knights.

Newest patch for SS is 1.2. You can find it on FileFront.
DoWFiles and Relic News have download links as well. The patch fixes some issues that were out-standing that the 1.1 patch was supposed to fix. At any rate 1.1 and 1.2 fix some of the balance issues that made the SoB slightly imbalanced as far as some of their weapon's power.

Since this thread is about Dawn of War after all, who would be up for a Dark Crusade game in a few hours?
TehKiller 07 Dec 2008
Damn I would but I don't got it installed. Maybe some other time (similar to this pointless sunday morning where I really got nothing else to do...)
Though I might instal DC right now but ill need to find the race unlocker (or even better if you got it then you could send it over MSN)
Now that was...well...kinda depressive. I am totally out of the form.

I've just reinstalled DoW. I have all the expansions, anyone up for some games? I suppose I also need to re-download Himachi.

Well Dauth managed to peek my interest in this recently so I am availabe for some games now. Currently on FSDow network. We should try and make it more active if we can.
TehKiller 20 Jan 2009
Well if there aint much ppl we can always do Assault maps (coop maps which look similar to AoD'... for up to 3 players )...there aint much of them but they are quite enjoyable (ask Dauth)

Dauth and I have been failing epically at some recently (due to me being a n00b). Sure we can get some games together soon though.

Sorry Brad, you're going to need to get DC,

Under a tenner from play.com which IIRC you can buy from. Seriously worth it.

I think I may be able to take a break from a little work and have a game or two (or more ) today and tomorrow (Friday/Saturday) from anywhere from ~1400 GMT to ~1800 GMT.
Hope we can get some awesome team games (Dark Crusade only, as per usual).
Currently in the lineup:
- Alias (available for all of the hours on both days)
If you can tell me that you're available and for what hours of the bracket you're available for, that'd be great. It'd be far easier to organise it all.
