This planet has no civilization on it visible from space, one moon, one half-moon (asteroid on the orbit), sun, some stars around...
You can use it as a wallpaper if you want or anything else,
if you will use it on something public, give me a credit, please. :P

The first is nice, although the blurs are always too close to the "focus" of the image. :)

probably the last attempt for some time: one boulevard in Lisboa:
Posted Image

1. new layer with mask
2. bilinear gradient
3. that polar filter
4. deformed this gradient thing into ellipse
5. CnP on the mask
6. "mask into selection"
7. Gaussian blurr - 5x5 or somehow
8. contrast bump, curves bump

Pro. The main problem on the previous ones imo is that the change from focus to blurred was way too harsh, though you've sorted it now anyway.

(currently it's my desktop wallpaper)

This is what I can see from my room in college house in Brno.
First I took 2 photos with phone camera then connected and fixed them in the GIMP.
However some details couldn't be fixed - like blue Siemens neon light.

Near buildings are college house buildings, there is by-pass highway behind those trees (and few other things),
those buildings in the front of the tall one are office buildings which belong to Siemens, IBM, sgi and few others.

That tall building is main building of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication connected to main building of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the right side and other buildings which belong to these faculties, few more buildings are behind. Simply it's whole campus of two Brno University of Technology faculties.

However my faculty (IT) lies a quarter hour away by foot.
