As the title says, the Staff group no longer exists. With the success of the global moderator group, help in moderating wasn't as important as it used to be. Help was now needed with administrating the forums. There was never any difference between Staff and Admins with exception the latter group had access to the Control Panel. It came to our attention that if we made this change, it would not be very radical and it would be a great benefit to our forums. With more Admins online, we'd be able to handle requests and deal with problems much faster and we'd be more efficient as a whole. Know that this will not change the spirit of the forums in any way but will also improve it by entire leagues.

Congratulations you guys, although as the OP says, it's not a huge change when it comes to the whole structure of the forums. Enjoy your powers - the decision is a wise one.

Wouldn't it of been simpler to just enable the staff group access the the ACP?

It feels a bit crowded at the moment.
