I plan to give the WMA regenerative Armor, and the ADF Shields, which regenerate too.

So, what would you think of having both armor and shields as another health bar, kinda like the Tripod, Devastator and PAC with shield upgrade?

Should be okay, the Protoss in Starcraft had something like that too.

This is a pretty good idea, at least units won't need to have things like Strength=9001 to be usable/killed anymore.
