Game looks veeery interesting. Reminds me of the 5th element for some reason.

The setting and environments look amazing, like a futuristic Far Cry 2. Looking forward to seeing how the story plays out.

Explaining the action button thingymabob

You can change classes mid-game in single player, about bloody time someone did that |8

Multiplayer looks as though it would be pretty cool with that action command thing.

I read about this in a PCG article a while back, nice to see the videos though. I love the smart system, thats better than the changing class thing IMO.

A new video (although a few new videos have come out recently).

This game is getting better and better, i love the idea of sliding past someone rambo style, i have always wanted to do that in a FPS.

Its looking very good, still a while before it comes out but hopefully that will mean a polished product.

It does look very good, but I don't particularly agree with the "if you see a screenshot of Brink you'll know what it is". It could easily be mistaken for Borderland on first glace, but still. It's good to actually see companies not opting for the washed out brown that has dominated FPS games for so many years.

Definitely have my eyes on this one, though.

Oh really? It reminds me of a beefed up version of the Timesplitters 2 characters.

Its like in the middle of the realism scale between COD style realism characters and Timesplitters wackiness, which doesnt really work for me 8|

It somehow makes me wonder what the plot is about. Some sort of race/competition?

Shirou's Photo Shirou 02 Sep 2010

Do you mean the plot or the background? The latter was thoroughly explained in the container city video's and this game takes itself a bit more serious than a competition game like Unreal Tournament.

Gameplay wise though seeing how speedy this guy moves about, it will probably move a bit towards UT and Quake, mixed up with some serious elements. Oh hell, let me not try to pin this down to other games, it looks rather unique (yes, there, I said it) perhaps?

New video

It's looking and sounding good, this is shaping up to be a great game so far, lets hope they don't somehow ruin it.

I like their dev vids, but I think this may be another one of those games which gets great reviews and sells absolutely shit all

I really hope this game lives up to what it sets out to do. And if it does I also hope it sells well. Its nice to see a new franchise in the FPS world, especially one that is quite different to anything before it.

The sounds are fucking amazing. The images though, they don't convince me to want to play this in multiplayer yet. I'm not really seeing a lot of bad stuff so to speak, but from watching it, it isn't very captivating to play this against other people. I guess this is a try-ey.

I'm really looking forward to this game. It's made by the same people that made 2 of my favourite games, ET and ETQW. I'm hoping it will be as good as those were

Will depend largely on the competition. As said in the dev video this game is a risk but it appears they are pumping loads of money into it, making everything from scratch.

I do hope they succeed.

I was just about to remark that it reminded me a lot of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. I played the demo and it was AWESOME. I would love if the game had a coherent plot (seriously, I just can't understand people who believe the story in a game is not important).

But it's really still too early to tell. I loved the mission thing in ET:QW, i think it could work great here as well.

You wouldn't need a back story to play a game of football with your friends now would you |8

Anyways games looks neat

Yeah but a good story adds to the immersion factor. In fact with Mass Effect, I was able to keep aside the less than spectacular gameplay just to absorb the awesome story. of course ME2 pretty much added great gameplay to the mix and is easily my favorite video game in the past 5 years.
