I hope they don't add Mac vs PC crap to TF2. Thats something the game really doesn't need...
Libains 09 Jun 2010
If they do something like a white headphones item for Mac owners, I won't mind it, as that will just be a laugh. Any more than that and it will be silly (beyond TF2's usual level of sillyness).

Well I'm sure they wouldn't post that info just to say that TF2's gonna be released on Mac, that would just make everyone rage D:

Edit of edited edit : Goddamn ninjas D:
I'm curious to see what this 'training' is... Also, hurray for the Loadout edit shortcut being finally fixed!
EDIT N°32 : New video : http://www.teamfortress.com/macupdate/
EDIT N°45 : Oh and it looks like we were right about the Earbuds as hats, that means we have now an indicator for first choice targets
EDIT N°99 : Did the Engie get a new shotgun on that video, or is it just my eyes which are failing me? D:

Sniper Shotgun it seems, at least it has a scope.
And the comic actually mentions blog posts, a death toll, and a war between hale which makes weapons which are always crashing, and some guy who makes shiny items...
This totally doesn't look like an Apple vs PC war

Bring it on, Swims and I against the world!

Its not a scope, methinks.
Reminds me of that forum favourite, what was it, Morgan?
I also hope he gets at least one building |:

Heh, nice find.
Looking through the patch notes, I'm particularly interested in these changes:

I tried out the offline play. Lots of fun, and the bots are pretty good. I suppose it'll have to do for now till my Internets out of the crapper.

I'm actually not too fussed about them, but the TF2 forums are in quite a huff over it (as they are over anything they want and can't get ). I love how blatantly Valve troll their community by doing this stuff. This was rather amusing too:

For the first time, Mac users can experience the head-covering excitement by getting online this weekend and playing America's #1 war-themed hat simulator for themselves

Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:
Engine
Fixed a crash related to model caches.
Fixed a crash related to empty proxy files.
Fixed a rare crash involving corrupted voice-comm playback.
Team Fortress 2
Fixed some issues with the community submitted tips.
Fixed a case where servers could get stuck in an infinite loop while spawning bots.
Made the training HUD code more robust, so it doesn’t crash if the client has modified HUD resource files.
Fixed a potential crash in the HUD during startup.
Fixed a level change crash related to Bot navigation meshes.
Disabled quickswitch UI in training to reduce confusion.
The Demoman's battleaxe now sounds like a sword.
Missed a note from yesterday:
