I'm really hard-pressed to come up with a beautiful Dutch word .
xD I feel you. The words that I can think of in Dutch are actually all shared with english =O
For lulz I'd say Angstschreeuw for the funny reason that few here can probably pronounce it xD
In english I would go for pandemonium, a word for chaos in the organized form of all five vowels.
I think I could, but I have no way to write it here.

What on earth are you babbling about? H is not a vowel in French, and Y is a vowel in French, Spanish and Italian at least. Next time you'd better check what you're saying before making such posts
As for the most beautiful word, well I don't see any beautiful word in Arabic, so I'll say a French one instead : Harmonie

Ooh! I think I came up with a potentially somewhat beautiful Dutch word!
percolatorkoffie
Which is coffee made in a very old and outdated way.

Then why do you say "l'hiver" instead of "le hiver"?

That's because you don't pronounce the H in that word (I find it funny that it applies to the word I picked as well (harmonie))
You can't possibly think that pronouncing it "Le hiver" would sound natural. In fact, it was done to facilitate the pronunciation.

Tell it to the U.S., the teachers here seem to think it's a vowel, just because it is silent.

I've always found the word, cadavre, to be interesting, if not the subject.
SquigPie 23 Sep 2010
Agreed, it certainly holds athmosphere, kinda like ancient, and illuminating.
BeefJeRKy 23 Sep 2010
I say it as pronounced in French so it feels alot more wuss like (Ca-da-vreuh)
SquigPie 23 Sep 2010
In danish (where Kadavre is plural, Kadaver is singular) we pronounce it: Kah-da...da...oh screw this! Danish is impossible to describe.
I understand why people say it's the hardest language ever.
