Now, since I need I'll have free time (a lot of it) very soon, I thought doing a few 'choose your own adventure ' stories in here would be fun.
But as we know you lot are lazy, so instead I thought I'd ask before jumping into the fire.

Would any of you be interested in a 'Choose Your Own Adventure'? As in, would you like to participate?
Now how we would go about it would be a different matter. And I see two good options.

I, the writer, control the plot points, the character, and you lot vote between choices I give.
By this I mean I would write the intro, and introduce the character, and then give you decisions or the character to make.
This would also mean I would map out the plot, choosing where I deem choices appropriate. Which would define where the story would end. If you lot make bad choices at the start the character will die. Or not succeed. Or something else bad.

Or

You, the readers, would offer suggestions and I would pick popular ones, or ones I like.
By this I mean I write an intro, and offer choices to what the character should be (I'm not making plots for a random character you lot choose!).
This would play more like an RPG. (Like, I could offer Stealth or full frontal fighting, or I could offer very main character choices, like gender, personality, etc.)
I would only map out main plot points I would like to cover. You as the reader would make drive the plot forward, offer advantages the character would use, and disadvantages to your suggestions will be fair. Like, I would describe a room, hint at things, and you would offer commands such as "check the suitcase."

Walk in to the post, pick the first second one, hope you do that one, Walks out.

So this is somekinda of RPG? Interesting... Too bad my free time is just in Mid-July... :(

Reminds me a lot of the old ROTR RPG on here back when SWR had the forums.

What's to say you don't just kill somebody if you're making it all up along the way though Braddicus?

I was thinking of Steampunk
I've always fancied writing something Steampunk-based.

Cyberpunk would be interesting too

I've found another RP to take my fancy when I'm inside not doing anything anyway.
