World of Tanks is a team-based massively multiplayer online action game dedicated to armored warfare. You might wanna fix all the links by removing "http://www.".com/;" from them 
I'll give this a try if I can access the beta... Even though I don't really like MMOs anymore...

After some testing it's suprisingly fun I'm in a tank destroyer and get pretty nice kills with it

Errr... Like any other? Dude, most MMOs are F2P and simply have an item shop where you can more advantages than others by paying, but lacking them won't be much of a problem...
And this game is no exception according to a quick Google search.

You shouldn't build an opinion of the whole genre over a single (crappy) game. The fact that it's the most played one doesn't mean it's the best

This is a pretty interesting concept for an MMO. Though the tactics so far seem to be either ambush them or rush with light tanks.
