Most of those renders don't have to be photoshoped to death , take a look at some of pav3d/nems renders for help.

Yeah, I've been better about not using photoshop with my renders to much and using the filters, all of my older work really doesn't look that great XD.

The model looks good, tho you need to work on the texture, A LOT. Also you need to fix the smoothing on the gun, use smoothing on different sections rather than just smooth modify the whole thing.

Filter spamming renders is never a good idea, and usually detracts from it.

Modeled in 3DS max 9 and all textures are from scratch except for the flags.
(this time I took my time on textures :whaa:)
This took me about 4 hours to complete.
