Has anybody seen Tank Police before? Its a pretty old comedy/action anime directed by Masamune Shirow (the guy did the original Ghost in the Shell mangas). The first series was released in 1988 and the second series in 1994. I just remembered Tank Police recently and can't stop thinking about it.
I suggest you watch it in the English dub, I think it's much better than the Japanese one (mainly because they replaced the entire Japanese soundtrack with a better one. One which actually fits every scene).
