Literally a 3D Diablo II with nothing changed but the storyline, the characters and the environments would be pretty perfect. Keep the gameplay a 1:1 carbon copy.

No idea why nobody does it. They always say it's 'similar' to Diablo II but for whatever reason a lot of them put their own shit on top and in the end just ends up lacking the level of polish that Diablo II had.
