But seriously, are there two buttons for final nuclear launch process? One for the silo doors and one for the rocket?

I'm thinking you can manually choose to open the doors with or without a missile launch, but you can't ignite the engine if the doors are closed. I mean...look at the opening movie, what happens if you don't




Well, it'd fuck up your entire base anyway with all the radioactive shit. Plus all the propellant in the ICBM and the silo would blow up too. Man, Vandenberg has it hard.
