Thats why they are hiring old staff to do the work, they know they will not be able to create something good, even if they wanted to

There is no way to fuck up a remaster, unless if you do it intentionally!
Always on DRM like C&C4 that boots you to desktop if your net cuts off for 1 second, poorly optimized graphics, gameplay "fixes" that end up ruining the balance, clunky controls because of a modified/new engine... There's no shortage of ways they WILL fuck this up.

Well I did win it in a contest from CnC maps where there were 10 keys up for grabs, and only 7 people entered.
I never managed to finish the game because of the disconnect issue that meant (combined with the unability to save mid game) that a simple desync on the last mission made me lose all progress in that very long mission, near the end.
