I listened to your music and I have to say that they are good. And I don't usually listen to this kind of music.

Thanks Orange... being called professional-standard is a very nice thing to hear for someone like me who is aiming partly for the games industry. :D

On an unrelated note, work has begun on music for Shockwave. I am currently making a new track for USA, orchestral themes mixed in with hard industrial parts and ambience. I may or may not release it here, i think i'll release a teaser though. :D

The orchestral mixed with industrial is right up my alley Cycerin :D . Wet Asphalt is TEH PWN!!! It's a good long song and it reminds me of something from Extreme-G for Nintendo 64. You've outdone yourself Cycerin. If you do this kind of work for yourself, I can only begin to imagine what kind of quality work you can do for Shockwave. Good luck!!

My best,

Nuker

Cool, I was actually wondering Cyc, what ever happened to the old songs you posted on NG? I have like 20 of your songs, there's like 6 on NG. Where are the others?

Another great track, well done. Although I still preferred Night Strike myself.
Either way, looking forward to more of your awesome work.

Working on some new stuff now. Namely, this. Obviously unfinished.

1) Make an orchestral theme.
2) Add a cool breakbeat.
3) ???
4) PROFIT!!!

You are destined for big things - seriously. What a beautiful piece of music - I love the bouncy, happy theme. The beginning conjures up images of the sun in a Winter Sky in a land cursed (frozen over) by evil. At 23 seconds I can almost imagine this cutting to a picture of elves or dwarves running along a vast snow plain (the introduction to the hero).

I will watch the development of this one.

You are certainly not a prisoner of your own style from what I've heard.

Was this made in FL? :|

Thanks Stinger, you always give exellent feedback. Not in the sense of approving, but.. I just love the way you talk about how the music affects you, what images it conjures up and such. The song does remind me of almost exactly the same as what you described.

I did make this with FL. the difference is certain software and sample upgrades I've aquired lately.

It begins as if the rains have revisted a long since dry place. It trickles down as if it's the opening sequence for a movie or some other masterful work. 8 seconds is when the magic begins, as I picture a snowy traditional Japanese landscape. As the song goes on, and takes on a more modern vibe, I'm transported to a night on the Tokyo streets gazing at all the flashing lights. I can't wait to hear more of this wonderful development. Your work will take you far and your talent is far greater than anyone will ever know.

More progress on it now. It's becoming a bit baroque-ish. I'll upload after the weekend.

More Baroque-ish, I love that time period, and I love that musical style. I don't know what it is, but that style makes me feel "at home."
