These gotta be the most accurate models I've done to date ('cept the tail of the manche)

I've given the cockpit given a bit of a shiny effect, also I've tried to fix the horrible Cockpit unwrap >.>

This is the latest of my whacky ideas for a future Earth.
Earth would be surrounded by these 4 'arms', which include space docks, ship construction facilities, surface to space transport, and 2 of the arms have facilities where asteroids from the astroid belt are docked, and split in half before that to keep the balance of the arms by docking the halves on opposite sides.

Edit: Smaller pic.

And now! For something completely different.
A pre-cold-war era rear propeller fighter, in this timeline, jet engines never found their way into fighters.

It's actually based on a plane from Crimson Skies, I think the one you got in the very first mission.

It kinda looks like the Fairchild Brigand and the Devastator from Crimson Skies indeed but that plane didn't have anything in between the wings AFAIK
Maybe you could add some turrets to the lower wings to make it more resemblant to the Devastator?

My goal wasn't to copy it, but to make a fairly realistic rear-propeller plane.

It's still kinda work in progress, but here goes my first serious attempt at sculpting an alien head (out of a sphere).

testing mudbox eh
...
I guess you know there is also a head in the package to start with
, but nice for a first time
, harder to do than just sculpting some terrain objects..
if by any chance you did this with Z-brush, then I don't know what I'm talking about

It was indeed with mudbox, I'll proably model the Scrin units with Mudbox, once I got a proper hang of it.
I know there is a head by default, but I wanted to do it from scratch.

i'm sorry but the feet look really bad, way too simplistic.
the rest of the model i like however, even though this must be like the 12billionth time you make the mammy

My god Rho, this is one of the best Mammoth Mk.II models I have ever seen in my entire pitiful life. The scale and proportion is...perfect...just the two antennas at the back is...too long, IMO.

I'm modeling a custom variant of the Gepard GM8 Lynx Anti-Material Rifle.
I will eventually redo the bolt, I just can't find any proper pictures of it
