One question though for you Mr. Warbz: the first one of your experiments that you did, can you recreate it into a tile maybe? So it looks like that only can be tiled and fits together? Looks perfect for a background.

alright ill get ur name on it now.
but with the background thing, i dont ever think i could get it into a way that if i made it into a tile the edges would fit together as the lines come out in a random way.

I'm sure you could just repeat the technique on a larger image, could you not? Unless all you did was Copy-paste C4D's.

nope, i used the gradient tool in difference mode and randomly clicked and dragged in different intervals.
then filter>stylize>find edges
then filter>stylize>glowing edges
then i changed the hue/saturation settngs, in order to color it.
and then added the stroke border.

Then there should be no problem to make it wallpaper size, would there?

It looks good, but I think he meant tiled as in fitting together. THough the desktop size may null that out.

Perhaps try a 1280x1024 variant?

Or 1600x1200 to better suit all?

Not bad mate, not bad at all. The mech looks like the Urban mech from Mech Warrior (though I doubt it is), but your coloration looks good so far. I woul suggest shading it in like the animation shows, but it is up to you. You don't have to, as it looks pretty decent as is.

i dont think i am going to do any more on it now, it was just to practice with 'painting' in photoshop. I do plan on doing other ones though.

You smoothed out the brush strokes, which is great in itself, but is better because it makes the sketch look like it belongs to a cartoon. Nice work .

I'm not the only one, actually, I never commented on a couple of your pieces, but that's besides the point. Blue is sort of a "deep" color to begin with (look at the oceans for example). Also has a sort of Jazz feeling to it.
