Also Sony Ericsson Walkman series will be a hard nut to crack. And the DRM bullshit of apple and clubbing iTunes for music transfer will ensure that at lest out here no one will take it up. Apple like always will over price its products and the true emerging markets like China and India will reject it. Its probably be lapped up by iPodophiles though.
EDIT: WTF is wrong with apple. i just found out the price at it is priced at $600.

Its this kind of retarded Smugness and elitism that many people hate from Apple and Apple product owners. Steve Jobs is worse then Any Microsoft or Sony CEO. The only reason for their success is good design but mediocre Functionality.

Oh, and Bob, they sell little Motorolas at different places, they really are $20, they're not the best but they do work decently (my friends have one, I think they're pretty decent anyway...maybe you can find them at an evil Wal-Mart).

I'm not a Mac lover, but I'm not a Mac hater either. We have several Apple products in my Household, and none of them have broken. Ever.

I use mine to review powerpoints, pdf and word files just before my presentation.
Media is a big importance.
use it to surf when i cant be arse to turn on my PC.
PAC MAN
And a whole lot of other stuff.
But all that i cant do on the iPhone because of the closed approached apple has adopted. they are gonna have strict control on 3rd party apps and this will seriously limit the number of open source and free apps for it. Ironically MS has a more open approach to the pocket PC where they have a very good programming open source scene going on.
600 bucks
No office support
No voice Dialling
Limited application support
And tying to one cellular provider for 2 fucking years.
Only a idiot would get this.
But on the plus side i do like the look of the interface but the same can be done for pocket PC with 3rd part apps.
