lol, "no" seriously dude. Absinthe is my favorite alcoholic drink.

It’s the whole process not just the taste and color. You have to put an Absinthe spoon over your glass, put a sugar cube on the spoon and pour the Absinthe into the glass through the sugar cube. You then set fire to the sugar and it melts into the Absinthe. That takes a bit of the fire away, its still 55% so you have to easy on it, no room for noobishness with that alcohol content. :)

Plus, Absinthe is almost the same as Pernod and Petit Ricard, Both excellent aperitifs before food. The only differences between afore mentioned drinks is Absinthe as well as containing lots of botanicals and herbs, some Randomonium, Promethium, Plutonium-186, and Quantium-40 is filtered through Kryptonite crystals. http://en.wikipedia....ctional_element

It’s found in all the best Drinking establishments frequented by Supper Heroes and Inter Dimensional Freedom Fighters!

@Dauth – When you drink Mead, do you find yourself suddenly transported to the Middle ages, with urges to go and hunt orks and goblins in the woods? I know I do. :)

I did a LARP (live action role play), now i really am an offical geek.

its quite nice, so i bought a crate fo it and sold a bit on to otehr people around me. and its not fermented fruit, its actually fermented honey which means that the sugar content is enough to kill my diabetic friend.

It had me hyper at 2am in -6 celsius last yr, was fun

Edit: Smooder why were you waiting for my post?

Man, america you cant drink till 21...what ages in other countries?

(Oh, you can drink at any age if your parents give you permission while in your own household)

UK 18, but can always find somewhere who will serve 16 yr olds.

Europe, doesnt really matter, the culture there is different, especially in france and spain (two ive visited). I like their manner of thinking about alcohol becuase if you try it wehn young you are less likely to binge. It is the same principle as prohibition making US culture worse in the 30's.

Rest fo the world, i dont know but wiki could probably tell you

Alcohol does actually for certain groups of society have beneficial effects. The effects on students should be ignored for this purpose.
