Making History: Calm And the Storm 10/10

I just beat the Soviet Union as Estonia with nukes somehow. It was crazy rad. And then World War II ended with the Estonian-American alliance winning against Sweden (who just beat Japan) And the world is semi-safe, for now. So, yeah. It's was pretty much the weirdest war ever.

Hearts of Iron II: Doomsday (+ Armageddon booster pack): 9.5/10

Best strategy Ive seen. You can play with any nation u want from 1936 to 1954 (ofc some nations can be played only from the year it was created...) and with the booster pack you got quite a interesting alternate tymeline concept (like South America as a communist nation, or British Empire facing a breakdown and renamed itself to Soviets). Hell u even gotta a detailed and historically correct politicians that ran all countries.Battle is quite realistic and you really cant amass a huge friggin army (unless youre playin soviets/germany/USA). The only downside is that the game is bloody difficult for newbs or in some scenarios (eg like the spanish civil war....the enemy somehow creates an army in a unguarded region which is a bit ridicilous)

lul, indeed

World in Conflict: 9/10

The reason it is not 10 is because it looks like utter shite on my computer with the "very low" settings
This game has everything! it is micro-ing to the extreeeeme, no base to worry about, just send in your units and start tearing stuff up!

Very fun and rewarding, but a small downside is that it relies heavily on team-work so noobs will have a hard time at first
Its if Battlefield 2 was made into an RTS (and set in the cold war)

DMC4 on PC: 10/10

Just  this thing owns. No better fun than whacking the ... out of the bosses with nero and his arm. Good replayability, and for the first time nice graphics!

Company of Heroes (all): The game is simply magnificent. Only two things annoy me MUCH:
1. people disconnect before losing. Why? Is a dispute better than a loss? I'd be 3 ranks higher if they didn't disconnect.

2. it's a problem with my internet type. I get it through a microwave transmitter, and the server of CoH seemingly can't deal with it and 75-80% of people can't join my game :P If anyone has an idea how to correct this, please tell me (it says NAT negotiation failed)

The game 9.5/10. My factors make it worse though.

Supreme Commander: I don't know why people whine about it. Play online 1v1 and there you go, the ultimate strategy experience. It's simply amazing. Adapt to the map, get intel, adapt to your enemies and crush them with a well calculated strike or a steamrolling. MUCH more variant than ZH or any other C&C. We already played about a 100 matches with my friend.

More coming later...

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. 8/10

Decent OTSS/FPS, nice graphics, excessive volume on the explosions, passable AI. It would get more of the "wow" factor if it hadn't already been done, though. Multiplayer is...lacking, at best.

Super Monkey Ball on iPhone

[9/10]

[GOOD] Controls are pretty intuitive, fun, epically cool playing it on public transport.

[BAD] Is battery hog, needs some way of setting which way is flat.

'An oldie but a goodie', as I believe they say. It's one of the most engaging games I've played in ages because it effectively combines the freeform nature of an MMORPG with the addictiveness of a good story. The graphics are somewhat primitive, as it was released in 2003 and there's simply so much they had to model, but you don't notice it when you're flying (which is of course the vast majority of the time) because space looks simply spectacular. I've never seen a game which gives boring old vacuum so much, well, atmosphere. The combat is somewhat arcadey but nonetheless tense and there are some real oh shi- moments in the campaign when a giganto-huge battleship suddenly looms out of the mist, just before you have some extremely seat-of-your-pants flying to do.
So, overall,
Pros: Addictive, excellent story, excellent history, great soundtrack and game atmosphere, giant (I mean really, really huge) area to explore, customisable and a good mix of difficulties depending on what missions you undertake.
Cons: The ship upgrade screen could do with a little more eye candy & functionality, and the fact that there seems to be no save game button (though it autosaves extremely regularly) is somewhat ludicrous. (This may be something I'm doing, so don't let this put you off.) Also, graphics, especially planetside, are rather dated though the art design is excellent, if a little odd at times. Another little annoyance is the range of missions available; while there are variations, they never seem to stray beyond 'go here, blow up people, come home'. Could really do with cargo/escort/mining/diplomatic/rendezvous etc. missions in addition to out-and-out combat.

Hitman: Blood Money for X-Box 360

Pros:
-Customizable Weapons
-Incredible variety of ways to accomplish missions
-Killing someone with a kitchen knife = win =]
-AI is pretty decent, if not predictable
Cons:
-Unable to customize weapons except for the ICA weapons you start with
-AI is predictable

All in all, a solid game, but it does have a few quirks here and there.
Score: 9/10
"Wanna know how I got these scars? My father was... a drinker... and a fiend. And one night he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself; he doesn't like that. Not... one... bit. So, me watching - he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it. He turns to me, and says, "Why so SERIOUS?" So, he comes at me with the knife, "Why so SERIOUS?!" He sticks the blade in my mouth, "Let's put a smile on that face! And... why so serious? -The Joker (The Dark Knight)

EVE Online: Empyrean Age. 10/10

No, I'm not an EVE Online Fanboy, but for a Sci-Fi and MMORPG fan, nothing can beat EVE Online :P

-Long time fun.
-Awesome graphics (beats even Crysis :/ )
-Run and gun is NOT an option.
-Teamplay is, when in a fleet-op, critical for success.
-Over 6000 solar systems to explore, heck, I only visited 102 of them yet.
-Skills can be learned while offline.

Heavy Gear
8.5/10

Complete customization of your gears, FMVs (cheesy like RA but not nearly as memorable), nice story, I loved this game. I rate this game for its time.

Heavy Gear 2
6.5/10

Heavy Gear 2 wasn't nearly as good as the original Heavy Gear. It's incredibly unpolished. It has no patches, despite there being major bugs in the campaigns (there are work arounds but come on!). It seems to use CoD4 style of giving you a crapton of Gears while there being little difference among them. The grand system of being able to have completely customizable Gears is gone. Now the insides of the gear are chosen by a "slider". Gone are the days of real limitations, now there is some crappy "threat level". Graphics are marginally improved, nearly the same, only better things are the terrain and missiles. The damage system is completely dumbed down, you can't blow off an arm or a leg. Now if a gear IS destroyed, no disabling or anything. Another thing is that Lazers now only damage at the end. What the hell? Were they too lazy to make lazers damage properly?

It's almost as if there were none of the original developers making the game. Though it has some nice features such as going prone, it has been dumbed down, and is so unpolished, and there are so many bugs. Damn Activision.

Gears of war 9/10 (its not perfect....yet. just wait for number two)

Best game on the Xbox (so far), and number 2 is going to be even better.

The campaign is, well uncomplete, but it is still very good, (even if it is loads of battles)

Lacks units, lack A LOT, and the difference between army, airforce and navy is too different, but I like the weather system. Not expected what is supposed to be.

8,5/10

More equipment for more purposes as in The Ocarina of Time would've been better. The dungeons also could've been a bit tougher, aswell as the bossfights.

Fallout 3 7.6/10

Great gameplay and graphics. But that's no excuse for the amount of annoying bugs. For instance, when you're sneaking and trying to peek around or corner or something. You move another 5 inches when you just tap the analog stick. At least, that's the one I notice the most because it just annoys the living crap out of me.

Doom 3 (Original Xbox)

I got a cheap original Xbox and three games for it for Christmas, Doom 3 being one of them. (The other ones are Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2.) I have not completed Doom 3, far from it. Anyway, what I really like about Doom is its cool sci-fi atmosphere. I also like it's unique computer terminal interface, which is vaguely similar to Marathon. I found that one of the zombie NPC models was a fat tub of shit, and it's fun to watch him slap the Marine with his fat, greasy paws. The atmosphere, in the very beginning of the game is clean and crisp, and kind of friendly in a sense. But that's before Hell breaks loose and you finds the scientist. I am currently in Alpha Labs at the part where you first get the Chaingun. I really like the U.A.C. because they remind me of the G.D.I. from CnC or the U.N.S.C. from Halo. (Whoa... WAAAAAY too many acronyms there.) Even though that Doom 3 is on the ORIGINAL Xbox, I found that its graphics are just right. The lighting (or lack thereof) provides a spooky atmosphere, in addition to the crazy voices you hear in the game. Expect to use your flashlight a lot. Good thing it has unlimited battery life. Overall, Doom 3 is a great game that I actually wouldn't reccomend to kids or big pussies. However, if you are a kid who not only thinks that they can handle Doom 3, but actually have the balls to play Doom 3, go ahead, I'm not stopping you.

The Ship

10/10

An awesome game, kind Cludo crossed with The Sims, Titanic and a FPS.
Its a multilayer game on Steam, which i think has been overlooked by many which i think is a mistake.
You start the game with no weapons and just a Quarry you have to find and kill, you find weapons where you'd expect, knifes in the kitchen,
Hammers in the tool cupboard. The skill of the game is to find your Quarry while avoiding your hunter, which can be hard but also fun at the same time. The game stops people from camping by giving you stats, you have to eat when hungry, sleep when tired ect, they work very much like the sims stats but they don't get annoying.

I would recommend you to get it as its an awesome game.
If you do get it, hook me up for a game.

Dead Space 10/10 perfect graphic optimization ( cool graphics, medium graphic card need ! ) perfect sound and gameplay, what should I want more ? Only thing I dislike about the game is :

SPOILERS

It is pretty much resembles Doom 3 story vise ! That mining operation, artifact and a crazy doctor who responsible for all of this, its almost identical with Doom 3 but without satanic issues.

Actually, JB, you can save in Freelancer. you just have to be on a planet or outpost to do so. Saving in the middle of space would be kinda stupid right? I mean, your in a huge battle with alien warships! :xD:
