Stronghold 9/10: It really makes you think what to build, what to buy/sell, how to place structures, how to attack. And, its like StarCraft/RA2/AoE2; if you have a computer, you can play it.
Stronghold Crusader 8.5/10: It's missing something, I just can't tell what. Nice game though.
RA2 10/10: RA2, 'nuff said.
RA2YR 8/10: Yuri faction is UNBALANCED!!!! And, since I downloaded the game (Before you say pirate, I bought TFD, and a file for RA2 is corrupted), I can't play mods on it now. Being RA2 expansion is still a good reason to play it though.
Roller Coaster Tycoon 10+/10: I play this since '99. 'Nuff said. This game, it NEVER gets old.
Roller Coaster Tycoon Expansions 10+/10: RCT1 expansion, playing since '01, 'nuff said.
Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 + Expansions 10/10: It doesn't feel too much like the classic one, but awesome nonetheless.

It was quite awesome game play, but I noticed couples bugs and some glitch. For example, the new creature call "Feral Ghoul Reaver". It's hard to kill(too strong) and kind of weird.
I like so much new weapons in DLC. Specially, Heavy Incinerator & Tesla Cannon.
Finally, it's good challenge fight against new enemies and some new armors.

For the TL;DR type, here is my score: 7/10
For the rest who want a rantish review, read on...
I never played the first one but I figured since most sequels spend the majority of the game explaining what happened before I should be able to pick it up quickly enough.
And I was right
First thing I noticed after completing it, there are only FOUR. DIFFERENT. ENEMIES.
Guys with guns (variations of the usual, shotgun, machinegun, pistol etc etc)
Crawler guys that jump at you
Partly invisible versions of the guys above
Mech guys
This is insane! How could they get away with that! After seeing the first weird crawling/jumping guys I thought "woah these guys are scary enough, I hate to think what else they have here"
Well they had nothing else! After the 5th encounter of these guys I started to wonder...
And then the game ended. It feels incomplete, its a real shame since I was genuinly drawn in and wanted to explore this messed up city even more.
There are no boss fights, just mini-bosses (Guys with guns, but with special guns, that you can take down with just more bullets) and every so often a mech.
Admittedly when I came across the slow-mo or bullettime feature I didnt think it would enhance the game or Id use it at all, but it adds a ton of fun to it, especially when you go slow mo running through with a shotgun scoring headshots.
Speaking of guns, altho the variety is very small (again, feels incomplete, they could have had so much more) they are very fun to use, particularly the hammerhead gun which shoots bright green steaks which can impale enemies to walls.
The main Guys With Guns enemies altho they look like the generic dumb FPS grunt are actually quite smart, never miss the chance to grenade your ass, surround you and effectivley use cover.
Story line wise like I mentioned before is quite gripping even though you know whats going to happen, and I genuinly did feel for the characters as they got killed off.
One character which shouldnt have gotten killed off was the enemy sergeant guy, he was just too cool, and you finish him off too easily (even if the fight you have with him is quite intense, def one of the best parts). He shouldave survived for possible sequels
The enviroment is dark most of the time as you would expect, and sometimes falls into the trap of being too oh-yet-another-blood-covered-surgery-room, but they do look rather impressive and it does feel like there is a world outside and beyond the room you are in. The enviroments are very interactive, you can use most stuff as cover by throwing or pushing it over, but the situations when you actually need to are rare which is a shame
The mech sections are quite fun, altho you cannot die it seems, even when up against other mechs. Again this is sth they couldave extended upon
If you want to have XBox achievments flying out of your ass then this is def the game to get as they come very often

It's too short, but overall I preffer it over Crysis. I also can actually play it on Ultra high with 15-30 FPS (which is what I'm used to...) While Crysis just barely runs with some options on "high" the rest on medium...I like the updated gun sounds. Specially that of the SCAR.

Contains spoliers!
Ah the end of an era, I started playing the Prime series when it first came out on the gamecube and have followed it ever since. I became rather attached to it...
If you have played the other two then its pretty much the same. Enemies get more aggressive, killing a boss unlocks an upgrade, some great and rewarding puzzles, but as with the other two comes with a spin.
Being the first (and last) of the series on the wii the introduction of the shake-to-do-something was inevitable, and is pretty well implemented, its not too OTT where every damn actions requires you to jerk off the wii remote but just here n there as to split up the action a bit.
One thing that has remained as is constant in all of them is the AMAZING scenery and monsters, everything is just so beautiful, it doesnt fall into the trap of having everything extra dark with extra grit that some games *cough*Gears of war 2*caugh* do.
Everything feels "alive" and even though everything is carefully set up so you can jump off this and that it really doesnt seem like it due to the brillliant level design.
The bosses are as usual epic but not so much on a grand scale as they were in previous metroid games which is a shame, and with the introduction of switchable hypermode (shooting phazon to epicly fuck shit up as seen in the last last boss of the first metroid prime) they become really easy to kill as it does an insane amount of damage. Omega ridley was a giant let-down, as in the first metroid prime you spent AN AGE killing him through a hundred different stages but this time he gave up quite easily, again this is probably due to the hypermode.
For the first time in the Prime series you can interact with other characters and there is much dialog, which was weird at first, but then its a nice addition to be able to "talk" (IE, they talk AT you) to the characters just wondering around.
Although the sense of just you alone in this big horrible universe never leaves you, and is what attracted me to the series in the first place. Just you and your suit against many many weird and wonderful things, it can be quite daunting (if you play for many hours straight without any outside interaction)
The down side is that if you are expecting new upgrades then you will be dissapointed, its pretty much the same lot just recycled. Thought as always its really well built into the game and you will find yourself using them all the time, not just in puzzles but against enemies too. Speaking of upgrades your ship too can get upgrades, though as with your own missiles you can get an upgrade for your ships missiles, which seems really really unnecsary since there are only two or three occasions in the entire game in which you can use them.
Thankfully they cut down on the stupid amount of ball-mode based puzzles that were present in metroid prime 2 ("So how do i... OH LOOK ANOTHER FKING PIPE"). They also cut down on the almost criminal amount of backtracking present in the original metroid prime ("So how do i... BACK TO THE START YOU GO").
Overall a massive improvement in the niggling parts, but a shame about the stale upgrades and dissapointing bosses. If you played the first two then finish the mission!

well... it's dawn of war. I'm still surprised how the game keeps you wanting for more... it's like some kind of weird drug i've been playing for a few months now and only as the Tau so that means i'll get to play more than a year or something. then i can go and replay it all over again
in all honesty, i really couldn't care less for the story but the game itself is just so brilliant it ain't really an issue. a nice change of pace from CnC games that are in general pretty buggy and crash-sensitive. also the ability of the engine to display such detailed models en masse is something i can still drool over

8/10 (So far... Only got it yesterday)
Nothing wrong with a classic.
This game is really cool, I like how, at one part early in the game, you can blast enemies with the shotty off the bridges and watch them fall. However, it's a little bit hard. I hated the encounter with the Loch Ness Monster wannabe, Del Lago. Also, I think Bitores is a dick. Right now I'm having lots of trouble fighting the first El Gigante on my way back to the church. I rescued the wolf in the beginning of the game, but he keeps kicking my ass. Occasionally a snake pops out of his brain, so I naturally shoot it, but he won't go down. But I like the gameplay, the setpieces are unpredictable and unforgettable. But I think the merchant is kind of weird. "That'll be all, stranger?"

I get more money winning the daily lottery and obtaining achievements than from winning pots.
Also, the way winners and pot-splits are determined is really bizarre at times.

Shin Sangoku Musou 5: Empires (AKA Dynasty Warriors 6:Empires)
A game expanding DW6 and revolving around ancient China in the Han Dynasty (between 200AD), Empires is different to Xtreme Legends or the original game as its focuses either you being a ruler, officer or a mere vagrant(you can even become Emperor) where you have to conquer land and defend territories from your rivals.
There are 14 main warlords who fight to conquer China and sometimes form alliances to fight over territories or unconditional peace and of course officers that serve under them.
Warlords:
Cao Cao
Liu Bei
Sun Jian
Dong Zhou
Yuan Shao
Yuan Shu
Ma Teng
Gongsun Zan
Sun Ce
Sun Quan
Liu Zhang
Liu Biao
Lu Bu
And Meng Huo
Onto the game stuff:
In the game there are a few options and stuff, first there is Empire mode which allows you to fight other rulers and recruit other people then you'll be prompted to either be a servant (eventually you can overthrow your Ruler and rebel) or you can be faithful and fight alongside of them and acquire friends (oaths, marriages, brothership), once you reach a higher rank you can suggest war council policies.
The other option is ruler mode which includes you managing your resources, obtaining war cards (basically policies) your officers and people, your land and of course money which you spend to buy horses, your people (yes you have to pay them a wage or they will rebel or just defect) and war policies.
There is no free mode in this game unlike previous Empire games but thats not really important as its basically a quickmatch mode.
The main scenarios:
The Yellow Turban rebellion: Basically you fight Zhang Jiao the way of peace master (think of Chinese jesus) and a few Warlords Cao Cao, Liu Bei, Sun Jian, Dong Zhou fight the rebellion under the command of He Jin, leader of the Han army.
Battle of Guan Du: Cao Cao and Yuan Shao fight, despite being 'friends' they went into battle with no doubts, Cao Cao had fewer troops than Yuan Shao but Cao Cao had the advantage, Wu Chao(Yuah Shao's supply depot) was weak to a fire attack so Cao Cao exploits that and a few generals defect to him (Zhen Ji, Zhang He, and more)
Battle Chi Bi: Wu and Shu (Sun Jian of Wu, Liu Bei of Shu) forms a alliance against Cao Cao's (Wei) massive navy and burned it.
The Three Kingdoms: Cao Cao, Sun Jian, Liu Bei fight each other and put an end to the Three Kingdoms and form ONE Kingdom. (Remaining officers die or die from illness)
A Land in Chaos: A what if? Scenario, non historical.
Create a Warrior: Make your own warrior with custom voices and weapons (not really exciting for me) which you can use in Empire Mode.
Enclyopedia: Contains historical records of the Three Kingdoms officers which is really useful.
Settings: What game doesn't have this?
Pros and Cons:
Pros:
Heavily updated graphics, but its not needed so much.
Meng Huo re-added and more detailed.
New weapons, costumes.
Renbu revamped
Declones from DW6Special
Swimming
Ladder climing
Bodies now stay of the floor for a bit longer
Much better voice acting but some are still crap
Free DLC
Good music from previous titles and now.
Cons:
Characters removed ( Da Qiao, Jiang Wei, Pang De, Zhu Rong, Xing Cai and Zuo Ci*)
Executions removed.
Character interactions removed or very limited (in previous games they acknowledged each other but in this game they barely know each other)
Siege Weapons removed apart from Tiger Tank.
A few typos but what game doesnt? Its made by a Japanese company.
Probably more which I cant think of.
* How could they remove Zuo Ci? I mean he shoots lasers from a bible!
In conclusion: I give it a 7.5/10 would of gaven it a 10 if they fixed the cons. I'd recommend this game if people aren't bothered by the cons.

There are one or two spoilers, tread carefully.
If you a fan of Batman, you will enjoy this game, a lot.
I was dissapointed by some aspects though, such as the ending. Compared to the rest of the game, the ending was waayyyy too easy, there were no
That however, is my main quarrel with the game, well, that and Harly Quin's new dress. It would have been more intresting with her old one.
My favourite bit of the game, is where you are a room of thugs, and they don't know where you are, so you do whatever you can to take them all out. Later on though, it is best to take them out one by one, which is the most fun.

It's little bit disappoint with few glitches, lack of new high tech alien weapons, can't enter doors after completed quests(if not collect Alien Captive Recordings), bad aliens with energy shield.
It's unlike Point Lookout, but pretty good new location with giant mothership and some new encounter. And of course, new interesting people from Earth's past. Including samurai warrior,
the girl from before great war, the cow boy, and the soldier from Operation Anchorage. Also, Alien Epoxy nice addition item(can repair with any weapons), too.

Over recent years traditional western RPG's have fallen out of favour, there have been some excellent offerings in the NWN (Neverwinter Nights) franchise and good hack and slash in the Dungeon Siege games. KoToR and Mass Effect also advanced the sci-fi RPG considerably. However despite these being excellent games, none of them really compare to the old school and ultra hard Baldurs Gate and to some extent Icewind Dale.
For many years fans have been hankering for the figurative Baldurs Gate 3. This game was hyped as being the spiritual successor and also the lovechild of Bioware. Those are hard expectations to live up to, but I am happy to report Dragon Age manages it.
Unlike previous Bioware games it isn't set in Faerun or indeed the Forgotten Realms world. Its a whole brand new world. I say brand new, but it still features all the staples of a good RPG - Dwarves, elves, humans ect. The lore isn't groundbreaking in its originality but it is very thorough, very detailed and very immersive. You can spend hours alone just reading all the lore you have collected on your travels.
When you create your character you can choose from the staples of humans, elves, dwarves and also - mage. However it goes into more depth than that, when you create a character you also pick an origin. This origin decides directly your first few hours of play, as well as changing others reactions to you, what quests are available and other game experiences.
Each origin is dramatically different from the other. There is also a huge sense of continuity, say you pick the human noble origin, later elements you experience ingame will be as a result of another origin. Which if you then play that origin, you will be able to change the outcome - or not - of the game. The origins alone give the game huge relay value, but more on that later.
The six different origins are - Mage, human noble, dwarf noble, dwarf commoner, city elf, dalish elf.
The game is massive, my first play through was 50 hours and that was on normal difficulty including skipping quite a few sidequests. Its also pretty hard, some fights I had to turn the difficulty down to easy. Revenants for example, at least when spawned from a black vial, are absolutely lethal.
In DA:Origins there are 3 base classes to play as - Rogue, warrior and mage. In turn each class has 2 specializations, these are unlocked by quests, items and other things you will encounter ingame. However specializations can only be applied 2x, once at level 7 and again at level 14. A specialization provides some passive attribute benefits as well as unlocking a series of talents.
Warrior specializations - Berserker, Reaver, Champion, Templar.
Rogue specializations - Bard, Ranger, Assassin, Duelist.
Mage specializations - Blood Mage, Arcane Warrior, Spirit Healer, Shapeshifter.
Okay, this is going to be TLDR if I continue like this, so i'll speed up a bit.
DA:Origins is a game about choices, of which you have alot, obviously you can only pick one choice, which warrants more playthroughs, a prospect you'll really like the sound of. Its not just clear cut good / evil choices either. I made a decision in my first game which appeared to be the better choice, but in turn led to chaos. When you do complete the game you get a summary of how your actions affected the world, so you can see how your choices panned out. However alot of choices have immediate effect, which often lead to more choices / events later on in the game. I won't elaborate on that to much however, don't want to spoil anything.
The game has been given some criticism about its graphics, I honestly don't know why. Sure its not Crysis but its still a really beautiful game, the environments are huge, exquisitely detailed and really give the game world depth. Some textures seem a bit stretched, but its a tiny minority, there are also some slight model errors - EG a rug flashes because its been placed on the same plane as another texture / model - but these are quite rare and don't ruin your game experience even one bit.
One of the things most modern RPG's have done away with, is character development - especially that of companions. This changes with DA:Origins, character development is back with a vengeance. Each character has excellent voice acting, their own likes and dislikes, sidequests, they will chirp in dialogue during conversations and also converse with each other. In particular Morrigan and Alistairs constant jabbing of one another was brilliant. The main thing about DA:Origins however, is how it actually makes you care about the characters, Morrigan especially, depending on what you say to her, give her and how you treat her she can turn into an entirely different character. Some of your companions also have roles in the main plot more than just to kill everything, but I won't reveal that yet.
Quests - DA:Origins has a main plot, which you can pretty much complete as and when you like. There is no absolute order although at some points you will reach a point of no return. However this is quite far on in the game and until then you are free to do as you please. It also has a huge amount of sidequests, these aren't just restricted to killing either, there are puzzles, stealing and all manner of RPG goodiness.
The world is not free roaming like Oblivion, it does have loading screens and you travel between locations on the world map. You also often get random encounters when travelling from one place to the other. However the levels - in general - are so large, you don't mind the loading screens, or at least I didn't.
Combat - DA:Origins doesn't use the D&D ruleset, instead it uses a new set of rules. Combat can be played in realtime or by using the pause function and assigning each party member invidually. Abilities / spells do not need to be memorised or have a limit on use like in BG but instead are learned as a talent every level. Some abilities are sustained - such as an increase in attack speed; sustained abilities partition your stamina / mana so that if the ability uses 100, and you have 200 mana, you will only have 100 mana to use on other spells / abilities. Non-sustained abilities are a click and target job, each having different cooldowns.
There are two viewpoints, the standard isometric view players from BG will be used to and the third person view. While in third person view you can rotate and zoom the camera to your desire which is definately worth it. If you play in isometric all the time you miss some stunning environments. However it remains to be said that the isometric view is by far the best to use for combat.
DA:Origins also introduces a tactics system, this means that you can - if you so wish - just play your main character. The tactics system is a series of instructions you can give each party member, they follow these when not under player control. Such as - When enemy casts spell - use ability shield bash. However I find it much more rewarding to control all my party members, pausing the game to give commands.
My only criticism of the game is the lack of loot, there really just isn't enough variety, I was running around with 15 sets of the same armour once. If it had more variety in its loot, like BG / IWD this would be nigh perfect. Oh and that despite the game being huge, I wish it was longer.
Summary -
Graphics - Not mind blowing but still very good : 9.5/10
Gameplay - Perfect : 10/10
Voice acting - Superb : 10/10
Quests - Very good : 9.2/10
Replayability - Extremely high : 10/10
World Design - Lushously detailed, extremely deep and jam packed with insane amounts of lore - 10/10
Total - 97.8/100 - Deserves its "RPG of the decade claim"

I just played Crysis as well, again, from the beginning. Now I just got through the Tank level ("Onslaught"), and must say, TOO SMALL. There is not enough space to really have fun driving the tanks D:
But overall, graphics, gameplay, story, and re-play value are pretty awesome. Specially as the objectives only tell you "do that", but it is your choice enitirely how to do it. The first time I played it I used the traditional "Run and Gun" technique, while this time, which has to be the 2345678ths time I play the campaing, I went sneaky. In fact, beside the tank level, I got through the whole thing whithout getting into a major fight. Scar + tranquilizer darts + silencer FTW. But I find the campaing too short, it could have been a tad longer.
9/10 because it has rather high hardware requirements, and is too short.

Generally, I don't like race games, at all, even less on the PC. Now I for the past few hours I were glued to the PC, playing burnout paradise.
You have this immense open world-city, aka paradise city, almost every crossing has a race, there are countless places to discover, abandoned railroads, park houses of which roof you can jump down with your car, natural ramps...and my favorite: road rage mode, where you have to trash your opponents several times. The only think I don't like is, when going counter-traffic, you have almost limitless boost. Even more so of doing lots of "almost-crashes", which is driving by another car at high speed, without touching it, but being only a hair away from it.
The graphics look amazing as well, even on medium settings It already looked like a charm.
I must say, EA for once got a game that turned out very awesome, and I had not a single Crash to Desktop or bug so far, only once where I crashed, without anything being there...

Crysis - The graphics are just insane, and I only have it on high. The zero grav bit is awesome - 92/100
Bioshock - This is HL2's contender to best game ever. 97/100 - I wanted to be able to break more stuff, hence the -3.
Mass Effect - Pretty epic, reminded me alot of KoTor in places. 89/100
