Hmm. My favorite GDI units would have to be the Mammoth Tank, the Juggernaut, Zone Troopers, Grenadiers, and hell, the Harvester. Futuristic War Miner FTW. Mammoth I like because it reminds me of the Mammoth of a long time ago -- except for the fact you can arm it with railguns like the Mammoth Mk II of Tiberian Sun. If the Juggernaut deployed like the one in Tiberian Sun, I would love it even more, but it works just fine as it is. Zone Troopers are awesome because they pack personal railguns.

My favorite Nod units would have to be the Venom, Avatar, Black Hand, and the Stealth Tank. The Venom has to be a great aircraft because it never needs to reload like the Orca. The Avatar with a Flamethrower combines anti garrison with powerful lasers. The Black Hand are great because it's nostalgia with flamethrower infantry. And the Stealth Tank, well, who doesn't like hit and run attacks?

Mammoth Mk II, Orca, the GDI bomber (can't remember the name), the sniper team, Vertigo bomber, and the Avatar.

As a sidenote: has anyone noticed that the Beam Cannon is possibly the only Nod unit who doesn't fanatical or crazy?

And with good reason too, I think:

"Ok, here's your new vehicle. It's a very advanced piece of technology, and it's quite fragile and you'll have to be careful with it."

"AYAAAAAAAAAA! DOWN WITH GDI! FOR THE CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUSE!"

Well, how can one not love the Mammoth? It strikes fear in the hearts of men just sitting there and when it's given railguns, no base is safe (insert AYB line of your choice). It can repair itself, and with the missle pods it can take on air targets. Nothing is safe from the Mammoth

The Avatar also gets my salute. Yeah, it needs those upgrades to truly be a force, but once you've got them, this thing is insane. It can clear buildings, and level a decent sized attack force with little help. There are two things it can't do, and that's attack air targets, and wash your dishes :D .

I'm impressed with GDI's Harvester. Through my raids with the brothers of NOD, I have found that the GDI harvester doesn't go down without a fight. If you attack with buggies, don't be surprised if you lose one or two to this harvester. It mounts the same weapon the APC has, so it's got some bite.

Firehawks are really cool, since their payload is more effective than the Vertigo's. They may not look as dark and sinister, but Firehawks are certainly a handy unit to have around.

Beam Cannons just for their ability. Otherwise, they look like a turd on wheels. Their weapon is awesome, and they can either cross their beams for an added range and RoF bonus, bounce their beams off a venom to get at hard to reach targets, or they can supercharge the already sickeningly powerful Obelisk. Another unit with well thought out abilities and so-so looks.

Another unit I can't ignore is the Venom. You can upgrade it so you can freak out your enemy and make them think you have an entire wing of these things coming. A versatile aircraft that packs decent punch. It works best with Beam Cannon, but in packs of 3 or 4, it's nothing to be ignored.

I was mixed, but now I'm certain on the Avatar.

Why?

Because he can steal from an enemy Nod player. :D

Yeah, who knows if it's meant to be or not, but it certainly was enjoyable watching a couple of them walking up from behind and taking parts from distracted enemies in the middle of battle.

"I like." :D

I know this is a little off topic, but the one thing I have to do, is get a GDI Harvester to Heroic rank, so that it can be like "Yeah I should only mine tiberium but if you mess with me you're dead."

No it doesn't? That's why it's called a Bomber.
What's the point in giving a Machine Gun to a Stealthed Unit?

It's got a little defensive tailgun according to the description. I haven't come across the opportunity to try it out yet.

I missed mentioning the Flame Tank. What a sweet unit NOD has. If used correctly, you can clear several buildings and still have enough health to purge the battlefield of an entire division of rocket soldiers. When heroic, watch out. The flames that pour from the twin nozzles do so for an extended period of time, felling your opponent's MCV to ash in 10 seconds. Not to mention, heroic units heal themselves, making this unit deadly in the right hands. Although it lacks AA and requires a few tech structures to be erected before one of these can throw their flames, it truly is a worth while wait. Pyros, your chariot awaits  .

Not only that. If you use the cool cloaking ability, you will get a sneaky garrisonclearer.

I like the GDI Riflemen squads because they sound disciplined and have a cool voice. It's really neat, you'll notice if you zoom in closely you can hear the movement of their fatigues as they move and crouch when they're near cover. Kudos to EA there.

The Mammoth tank because there's nothing more satisfying than commanding a unit that believes it is invincible and in reality is almost close to being it (although it does feel slightly uber at present :/).

Predator tanks because I like the sound of their cannon firing and the recoil animations. To some it might sound a little squelchy, but I don't think EA could've chosen a better sound here.

Predators also look awesome when their treads articulate over terrain.

The Predator recoil looks like the tank is almost about to flip backwards ;).
