My ideas:
NOD:
Scorpion - Extra Armor Protection
Emissary - Propaganda Tower
Harvester - Some sort of tiberium-enhanced weapon, or a harvesting ability
Raider - Light machine gun or enhanced EMP Coils ability
Scrin:
No idea - No idea
GDI:
Pitbull - Steals the missile rack and uses it for anti-air firepower. Maybe mounted on head.
APC - Light machine gun, or maybe something like a bunker to hold troops in.
Predator - Extra Armor Protection
Harvester - Some sort of tiberium-enhanced weapon, or a harvesting ability
Rig - Gains the ability to produce a couple repair drones to aid it in battle.
Mammoth - Giant cannon or missile pods.
Do you think this is a good idea?
Also, feel free to post other ideas about this here too.
Imagine an Avatar with every single one of these upgrades.....

If this were to be codable, I like to see some kind of doubling up system where the avatar can take from the same kind of unit twice.
Flametank: Pretty obvious. Simply mounts another flame thrower.
Bike: Adds on another sensor and gets improved vision and stealth detection range.
Beam Cannon: Puts another on the left arm. Gets a longer range left arm beam with the doubling up effect.
Stealth Tank: Can provide stealth to objects in a very small range.

For the Scrin, what about the ability to raise other vehicles from the dead?

No harvesters
Predator- Tank gun
Mammoth - Missle pods
Pitbull - Mortar
APC - The bunker
Also, only a maximum of 5 can be applied.

The Pitbull mortar is an upgrade, and it would looks weird for the mech to grab a mortar that wasn't there. Also, I think that should stay GDI specific anyways.
Any ideas for grabbing a harvester?

I do think the Stealth emitter should be mounted elsewhere than on the Avatar's face/eye. Kinda strange to have something that delicate and sensitive right in the easiest to hit location.

The Bike's stealth sensor could go on the shoulder and point foward.

I'm thinking:
For the stealth emitter, the Avatar places it inside its chest. A large front plate slides forward a bit then folds down about 25 degrees. The emitter is then placed inside the plate. After it closes back up, some little detail lights on the body start to glow to indicate that it is stealth capable.
For the sensor, the bulge where the head is pops out slightly and flips back. After installation, the Avatar's eye glows.

Harvesting GDI units could give it some AA capabilities. No scrin harvestings. As the technology would be too different and complex to just rip off the unit and push onto your shoulder.

While the Mammoth Tank may be the front-line assault weapon, it is not GDI's 'Ultimate' Unit. The Juggernaut is GDI's 'Ultimate' Unit as it is the only one which becomes a capturable husk. Plus, it's also their only unit on legs.

Also, if the Avatar could tear parts off other tanks it'd make it a lot better. It'd have to be a gradual thing, or something that required a small time though.
Like tearing a turret off a Mammoth Tank (Not necessarily to Commandeer it, but to disable/destroy it) could take something between 3-5 seconds. After that the tank either gets destroyed or disabled.
It would obviously have to be completely vulnerable while doing this and possibly be modded to have a little less armour to make this a less devastating ability.
Imho, I think this "Claw of Destruction" idea would make the Avatar shine up to it's true potential. (This idea has been brought to you courtesy of C&C3 Concept Art; Concept Art, the way to be.)
